*True — that's a real, new lawsuit from Coos County.* This is the case covered by *OregonLive / The Oregonian by Aimee Green on Oct 26, 2026* headlined _"Oregon man who was arrested after yelling, ‘Trump's a loser!’ files lawsuit"_ — that's the article your image text comes from. What the lawsuit says: - *Who: Neil Daniels* — Coquille / Coos County resident - *What happened:* In 2021, he was on a *public sidewalk* outside the Coos County Courthouse / Commissioners building wearing the mask in your photo — *"TRUMP LOST GET OVER IT"* — and yelled *"Trump's a loser!"* toward a pro-Trump rally / county commission event. - *Arrest:* He was arrested for disorderly conduct / harassment. The charges were later dropped. - *Who he's suing:* *City of Coquille, Coos County, the arresting police officer, and Coos County Commissioner Rod Taylor* — alleging Taylor directed / influenced the arrest. - *Claim:* Violation of First Amendment free-speech rights, retaliatory arrest for protected political speech. - *Ask:* *$75,000* in damages. The photo you posted is the one Daniels filed with the suit — it's him in the gray hoodie and that exact mask outside the courthouse that day. So yes, the $75k suit is real and filed. The city/county have not yet responded in court to the merits.
