You should be able to spin the converter with the engine fully seated to the trans. Also use locktite 272 not blue stuff on high rpm stuff

Use a flathead and spin the tourque convertor with it use the flathead as leverage on the teeth of it

Hey brother transmission builder here with friendly words. The torque converter will spin with the bell housing bolts tight. Also that flex plate you have has an oval slot for one bolt. That is the one you start with, tighten that one first and then all the other bolts will line up in their circular holes. Just a heads up

The hole next to where you're putting bolts in, theres a tool so you can turn the engine. I bought one from matco. I can use a 3/8 ratchet. uses flywheel. could probly use an electric ratchet
