The problem is people are so used to clout chasing… people assume if you’re not loud about what’s happening or what you’re doing, it’s not happening. Real philanthropy doesn’t have to be loud for it to be happening and the Carters are very quiet with their philanthropy

He’s definitely on the receiving end of a smear campaign. Jay Z has done amazing work both locally and systematically. Whether it be regularly providing free food, or providing access to free dental care, or providing school supplies, or passing laws, or freeing people from prisons, or suing corrupt police departments. He has done more for his community than individuals with performative Afros scouting after the black dollar while begging to be a part of an institution they once likened to a plantation.
