So are you saying if one has the HDG plan and goes into the hospital, they would pay 20% of the Part A $1700 bill? ….They are not paying the full 1700?

I thought Medicare part a and B deductibles transitioned into the high G deductible max for the total plan G deductible.

I’m very confused. I understand there’s a $1700 deductible on plan A for hospitalization. Plan G covers that deductible, so does HDG after you meet your out-of-pocket. Under the HDBG plan, your maximum out-of-pocket is going to be $3050 plus your premiums. That’s it. If you go to the hospital five times, you’re not gonna pay that plan A deductible five times. Right? You’re gonna pay it once depending on the circumstances as part of your $3050. So help me understand why I need an indemnity plan under HDG, but I don’t need it under G?

I’m paying $685. For my wife and I for plant in in $97 a month for D. They are raising my plan D up to $260 for both of us. So I’m paying $408 for my regular Medicare 685+97 for my complete plan in 2026. What plan would be my best for 2027? This is beyond my reason I don’t think I can afford the price for the keep my insurance as it is.of

Doesn’t the part A deductible apply to all? The plans G, N, and High Ded G are for part B, not A
