@meghannmcuniff: Nichole Noble is the mother of Melvin "MO3" Noble Jr., a rapper who was shot and killed on Interstate 35 in Dallas, Texas, in November 2020. Noble testified as the first witness today (Tuesday, October 27) in the trial of Markies Deandre Conway, aka rapper Yella Beezy, who is accused of paying the gunman $40,000 to kill Noble. A jury in September convicted Kewon White of being the gunman, and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Noble's son was 28 when he died. Thomas "Tommy" Adams, an assistant district attorney in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, showed Noble a photograph of her son performing. "That's my superstar. That's my Melvin," she said. Asked about her son's rap name, she said he "stole it from his daddy." "Music has always been in our family, and myself, I did music. His daddy did music," she said. "How did he get interested in music, or when did he show signs of being talented in in music and rapping and singing and all of that?" Adams asked. "Music had been in our family forever, and so at two years old, Lil Melvin could do whole two-part harmony.
