I saw another creator talking about how highly intelligent women can actually be more susceptible to manipulation because they’re able to see situations from so many different perspectives. They end up over empathizing, rationalizing behavior, and making excuses for people who aren’t extending them that same consideration. Sometimes the ability to understand everyone else’s perspective can make you lose sight of your own. Empathy is a strength but when it requires you to abandon your boundaries, it stops being understanding and starts becoming self betrayal. 🤷🏻♀️
