@theallisondoyle: And listen I love Christmas as much as the next girl and used to think this way too. I was comfortable spending on things that gave me temporary enjoyment…. But also hated the debt I was in and the check to check life that was draining me. I eventually had to ask myself “why did spending feel so normal but investing in my own education feel risky?” The course didn’t guarantee what I would earn, but it gave me the knowledge I didn’t have before and showed me possibilities I didn’t even know existed.
