I like to watch Jamelle’s videos because sometimes I can learn new vocabulary like “ignominable” (ignominious per captions) which makes me feel better about making small mistakes like that myself 💜 while still learning a lot.

I feel like defending the very idea of democracy is the challenge of our time. People feel entitled to democracy and perfect government without having an understanding of its value and worth to their own well being. I don’t know how we’ve lost sight of those things, but I do know we’ve got to figure that shiit out!
