Using the Laws in this situation is definitely appalling and shouldn’t have been done. That being said, “non competitive” youth sports leagues usually have unique rules for the given age group which lead to this situation escalating unnecessarily.

Like I understood where the coach was coming from… to let the other kids play, no pushing etc. (at that age it’s more about having fun) and the mom being upset he kept getting pulled out. To let others play… BUT TO CALL THE COPS?!!! Just talk to them! That’s insane to have that level of discontent from the beginning!
