This is the oddest thing I have ever heard lol. If I cried because the cake was all gone (and I had gottena piece) my mom would have been so annoyed. I cant imagine calling the baker to ask for a single slice.

going to you in advance for a whole cake i totally understand.. but in this instance i have no idea why she wouldn't just take him to Safeway or whatever store is closest to them with a bakery and get something premade.. bc why would you have premade stuff ready to sell like that on a moments notice..😅

this is the exact reason for my birthday that we got a 64 serving even though we were only expecting like 15 people Max so that we could have leftovers and I could eat leftovers for like a week off and on

poor kid but this is on the parents, everyone knows to set aside a huge chunk of cake when you host a birthday party, in fact most people order an extra large cake specifically for that reason
