I’m sorry but I had a fine hair specialist try layer on me multiple times and it looks like crap every time. It makes it look even thinner when no styled. Def not for fine and thin hair

:( nobody specializes in fine hair. It’s soooo difficult to find someone that doesn’t RUINNNN my hair. I’d stay with a stylist forever if they could do this for me 😵💫

The person in your chair seems to have a lot of density though! That's a ton of hair compared to the average fine/low density hair people are really struggling with.

This is not thin hair, this is fine hair. Most people with thin hair can not have most styles. Adding layers will lose their perimeter. Thin means few strands, fine is skinny strands.

I was told for so long that I couldn’t have bangs bc my hair is so thin and I have a “widows peak”. Got them last month. They look amazing.

You definitely can't cut my fine curly hair the, why your cutting her hair. My hair will ends up in fine tiny knot on top of looking choppy. To many stylist can't cut hair anymore. All they want to do is point cut, slide cut,or get the texturizing sheers out. No one just cuts in the angle they need to, In order to achieve great hair anymore. You can definitely do it without using them, just know one trained your properly on how to blend. My hair looks like a cheap wig from the halloween store. When you cut it like that. It looks frizzy,choppy, then add in the tiny fine knots you get when blow drying, sleeping, etc. Then they wonder why so many fine hair girls can't grow their hair long.

My issue is clients thinking a cut can add 4x the density and volume they currently have without styling and product. Trying to manage expectations is exhausting some days.

I only recently found out I have thin hair. I just have ALOT of it. I need a lot of layers when I have a bob cut but I am growing my hair back down to my waist. This cut is gorgeous on her!!!

I have the opposite issue. I struggle with layers and face framing with thick hair. I feel like you can’t see anything I did because the hair is so thick. I try to use my thiinging shears but something still is off

It’s not going to stay looking like that tho…that’s the real issue. Beautiful cut and style…let’s see her in 3 hours after she’s been outside, wind blowing, etc. that was always the hardest part for me to explain to my customers!
