if the end goals is to have will as mack winger, it makes perfect sense to have him play winger on diff line too. especially with how misa seems to be 2C. everyone talking bout warso likes to play musical chair so i’m pretty sure we’ll see will as center for next game

I’m excited to see the two lines, Will on the second line also reminds us that it’s not just about Willmack, he’s a good player in his own right, too. I’m happy to see him with Mush. I’m also excited to see Graf in the first one. I can’t deny it, I love him, lol

It bothers me because Smith is a Center. I’m fine with him winging for Celebrini but to have him wing on the 2nd line for Misa is a misuse of his skill in my opinion. The games last season were punishments per Warso’s comments to the media. I hope he has a great game but I worry about his development in this organization.

Im side eyeing it because of Warsos history. The constant line changes got to be too much, and I know you mentioned people saying all the coaching hates Will and thats not true, (I dont believe its true) but the way Warso was talking about the line changes last year did make it sound like he thought no one was good enough for Mack. So Im going to side eye this until he proves me wrong. I agree with you about Stenny. Hes going to be first line material but I think he needs more time to find his game in the NHL level first.

my issue is not so much that smith was moved as with the fact that instead of honing in on the combinations that have good chemistry and production ability the coaching staff seems to be playing musical chairs before the game and then end up reverting to spamming the smith-celebrini-graf/marchment line in the third period. i get that lines are a gametime decision but this clearly isn't working well for this group

We also have to remember that Wenny and Cherny are injured, so if they want to try Stenberg with Mack with them being injured, it makes sense to move Will with Misa to balance the lines.

I can see how this could be a good opportunity for Will to have the puck more and take on a bigger role in creating plays. I’m curious to see how he clicks with Misa and Marchment, too. Having two lines that can generate offense could be really good for the team. I don’t necessarily see it as a demotion … hopefully it gives him more room to grow and build confidence in his own game honestly

there are so many iconic duos who never played on the same line😭 sid and geno have always been first and second line and only played tg on pp1 and no one is freaking out over there lol. its good to mobe around and spread the talent out sometimes
