@thesameerproject: For countless children in Gaza, this is their first year back in school since the genocide began. Despite continued bombings, displacement, and famine, children are returning to classrooms. Because how much longer can their education wait? But many are starting the school year without even a pencil or a single notebook. The Sameer Project is helping children reclaim their right to education, one school supply package at a time!! On October 21, we distributed 200 stationery packages to students at Builders of the Future School in Al-Radwan Camp, Gaza, for a total cost of just $709 after transfer fees of 11%. This was in collaboration with our partners at Small Steps Project. These children have already lost years of their childhood. We cannot allow them to lose their futures, too. Support our education initiatives through the General Fund link in our bio.
