@vsrsus: Temwa Chawinga. Come and collect your flowers. You are looking at the first African woman ever to make the Top 10 of the Women’s Ballon d’Or. This Scorcher took the flame from Barbra Banda and her older sister Tabitha and kept running with it. The true definition of breaking new ground. Won back-to-back league Golden Boots and Player of the Year awards in style. KC Current’s golden girl showed how wavey she was by washing away the competition, netting 15 goals and registering three assists in 22 matches during the 2025/26 campaign. Then she put the dub in WAFCON with even more heroics. Took her motherland to a continental final in their first-ever major tournament and secured the top scorer award. Read that again. Malawi may be nicknamed the Warm Heart of Africa, but Temwa's story shows how you truly move people. It’s not just about the greatness you achieve on the pitch. It’s about the people you inspire off it. That is how you leave your mark. #chawinga #malawi #nwsl #football #futebol
