@tim.bogan2: What if the price of seeing the world clearly is losing the ability to enjoy it? There comes a point when you begin questioning everything you’ve ever believed. The illusions fade. The comforting lies lose their power. The world you once thought you understood begins to look completely different. And somewhere along the way, something changes inside you. The things that once brought excitement no longer move you. The dreams that once inspired you begin to feel distant. The simple pleasures of life slowly lose their color. You gain knowledge, but lose wonder. You gain perspective, but struggle to find peace. You understand more than you ever have, yet somehow feel less than you ever did. It’s a strange kind of loneliness—being surrounded by a world that continues laughing, celebrating, and chasing happiness while you struggle to remember what genuine excitement feels like. Anhedonia: The loss of the ability to experience pleasure in things that once brought joy. Is this the price of awakening? Or is it what happens when life has exhausted the human spirit? Perhaps the most frightening thing isn’t discovering how dark the world can be. Perhaps it’s realizing how long it’s been since you genuinely felt alive. 🌑 The question is: Can you ever see the world the same way again? 💬 Have you ever felt like the more you understood about life, the harder it became to enjoy it? I’d genuinely like to hear your thoughts. 🖤 — Tim Bogan #DeepThoughts #Philosophy #MentalHealthAwareness #Anhedonia #Existentialism
