Me, I always tell them before administering the medication that it can irritate their bowel and may cause vomiting, so I won’t be asking too many questions when you start vomiting 😭😂

Someone staying with me at the hospital after my caesarian section, rushed the blood giving to me while I was asleep, the nurses called her witch and banned her from the hospital, they said that God really saved me.

An injection was once administered to my for about 15 minutes the nurse kept checking time before injecting in little quantities since then I don’t question how they do these things because I believe they know better

The biggest difference I've noticed is communication. In Nigeria, hospital staff rarely explain what's going on. Many walk around with stern faces like they're fighting a war, and you're left guessing. Abroad, they tell you everything: what's happening, what to expect, what comes next. Patients stay calm because they aren't in the dark.
