@604sonically: DJ Khaled & T-Pain Almost SHORTENED This Iconic Drop to 'All I Do Is Win'?! 🤯 One of hip-hop's most ICONIC drops almost got shortened?! 🤯🔥 Mix engineer Lu Diaz shares a behind-the-scenes story from working on DJ Khaled's “All I Do Is Win” featuring T-Pain. While they were mixing the record, DJ Khaled, T-Pain, and others started questioning whether the drop was holding for TOO LONG. 🎧 Should they shorten it? Was the wait too much? But Lu had a different reaction. He LOVED the drop exactly the way it was. 🔥 He pushed to keep it, trusting the anticipation and energy that the extended drop created. Looking back, Lu believes that if they had shortened that moment, “All I Do Is Win” wouldn't have been the same record. It's a powerful reminder for music producers and mix engineers: Sometimes the moments that make a song ICONIC are the ones you're tempted to change. 🏆 Knowing when to leave something alone can be just as important as knowing what to fix. 🎙️ Watch more behind-the-scenes music production stories on the Sonical.ly Podcast. 🎮 Want to improve your music production skills?
