Mind you, because of racist stereotypes, black women are often hyper-masculinized and their ethnic features are often misread as being male features by non-black people so black women are disproportionately harassed by transphobes who assume they’re trans women compared to other cis women. This has lead to multiple cases of black women being targeted and sexually harassed in bathrooms and locker rooms under the assumption that they’re trans. Transphobia helps no one, it only serves to further hurt those who are already marginalized
