@myproductivityplann: You don’t have to beat the craving. You just have to outlast it. Urges come in waves. They build, peak, and fade. The mistake is acting at the peak, when the pull is strongest. A 10-minute delay doesn’t ask you to say no forever, just “not yet,” which is much easier. By the time the timer goes off, the urge has often passed on its own. October is our reset month. Reset how you respond to the pull: ⏳ When an urge hits (a snack you didn’t plan, a mindless scroll, an impulse buy), set a 10-minute timer before you give in. 🚶🏽‍♀️ Fill those 10 minutes with something useful: drink a glass of water, answer one email, take a quick walk. If you still want it when the timer ends, decide on purpose. There are 3 months left in the year. Most urges don’t survive 10 minutes. 💬 Be honest: what’s the urge that always gets you? Snacks, scrolling, or shopping? 👀 ❤️ Like this if you’re trying the delay today, and follow @MYPRODUCTIVITYPLANN for daily tools. 🔒 LOCK IT IN SelfControlTips, MyProductivityPlann, ImpulseShopping, HealthyHabitsDaily #UrgeSurfing #MindfulEating #ScreenTimeDetox #TuesdayTalk #PauseBeforeYouAct
