@sfstandard: This Thursday, the Valkyries will face off against the Dream in Atlanta before most San Franciscans have had their second cup of coffee. Game 6 of the WNBA Finals tips off at 9:30 a.m. PT, so local bars like Mother in the Mission will open early to stream the finals on the big screen. Players Veronica Burton and Kiah Stokes suggest fans call in sick. Read all of our Valkyries coverage at the link in our bio.
