what's your major. I'd search for your colleges tech requirements. and see if there are any kinks for discounts. personally, I like the Lenovo t14 it t16, but I just picked up an Acer that's really nice

Depends on your major really. If you’re doing one that requires you to have a lot of programs don’t get a MacBook because they tend to not be compatible. I had a HP pavilion and I liked it. I did engineering

Microsoft Surface Pro!! Can be used as a tablet (to take notes or write by hand) and you just attach the keyboard so you can use it as a laptop! definitely worth it and you can use your school email to get access to Microsoft Word, PP, Excel, etc.

I am a nutrition major and have a MacBook Air M2 chip I had it for 4 yrs now it’s going strong and hasn’t even shown signs of breaking and i have dropped it 2 times and spilled water on it multiple times too and only problem I had with it is it’s not the best for doing heavy software if your computer major and things like that

If you do the arts, such as graphic design, MAC BOOK ONLYYYY. I had an HP and it sucked so badly. From what I’ve heard from others, HPs are good with tech stuff beside this
