Girl preach!!! We took our 2 month old daughter to my husband’s family thanksgiving gathering and I was too nervous to tell people not to hold her, so my husband baby wore her the whole time and told his family we weren’t passing her around. His ENTIRE family gave us the silent treatment and it was so uncomfortable. So needless to say we left 🤷🏼♀️. Why is it so hard to respect others boundaries nowadays!

Now that my toddler gives kisses I panic when I see friends or family pucker their lips and pray they don’t kiss her on the lips. I’m too shy to speak up about it but it bothers me so much

Okay but on a real note they make the hip carriers for older babies I’m considering this personally because my daughter now that’s she’s walking and is affectionate herself I’m worried she will go up and kiss someone 🫣😭😅

Another thing I can’t stand when people refer to my daughter as a soon-to-be “heartbreaker” or my son as a “lady’s man” I immediately get creeped/grossed out.

My husbands family LIES about being sick in order to see my daughter! She’s 15 months and just got over HFM. It was horrible!!! I don’t think people care because they’re not the ones taking care of a sick baby😭 im sooo on edge all of the time because of this!!

My daughter is 14 month old and I still don’t let anyone kiss her on the face the only people that can kiss her on the face is me and her dad. It just still makes me nervous

People are INSANE! about touching babies. For some reason, despite having a feeding tube making it so obvious that my daughter is sick in some way, strangers love touching her. The last time we went to the doctor, two separate people came up to her and grabbed her hand. It’s insane, just don’t touch babies that aren’t yours 😫😭

I gave up on my husband side kissing my toddler… I expressed I didn’t want them to do it and they don’t care. It’s not just about getting her sick but also HSV and streptococcus. If you didn’t know you can pass cavities to your toddler from streptococcus in peoples saliva.
