@the.election.guy: I’m predicting Jon Ossoff to win reelection in Georgia by 6.8 points. Despite Georgia’s increasingly competitive political environment, Ossoff has several advantages working in his favor, particularly his incumbency and the strong Democratic voting base in the Atlanta suburbs. His ability to appeal to moderate voters while maintaining support among the Democratic base should put him in a good position to outperform the typical Democratic candidate in the state. Republicans will certainly have a chance to make this race competitive, but I don’t see them having enough support to pull off an upset. Georgia’s changing electorate, combined with Ossoff’s existing support and fundraising strength, makes a comfortable Democratic victory a reasonable expectation. I expect him to hold the seat without too much trouble, winning by 6.8 percentage points and giving Democrats an important victory in their efforts to maintain control of the Senate. #georgia #jonossoff #politics #trump #midtermelections
