@haleyrqueen: Let’s be honest. 👀 People say they support autism acceptance until an autistic child stims in public, makes an unexpected noise, doesn’t make eye contact, has a meltdown, or does something that makes THEM uncomfortable. Suddenly, it’s about bad parenting, discipline, attention-seeking, or what the mother should be doing differently. You cannot claim to accept autistic children while expecting them to hide every part of their autism to make other people comfortable. Acceptance that only exists when a child is convenient isn’t acceptance. Agree or disagree? I’m genuinely curious how people feel about this one. 👇 #autism #inclusion #fyp #foryou #autismmom
