um rudeus was supposted to be a dead baby , but because rudeus soul was from ither world ( for the plot mayve ) it survived , but if aisha or the other girl i forgor her name , would of got the laplace factor they would not even be alive rn

The Laplace Factor isn’t genetic. The way it works is parts of the soul are sent throughout the future in order to eventually make a body fit to inhabit the entire soul of the Dragonfolk. Yes if two individuals who possess a Laplace factor have a child, then it’s likely the child will have a stronger factor themselves (take Sieg for example) but a child being born with a factor does not require one or both parents possessing a factor themselves

because it's not a guaranteed thing just because one kid has the factor doesn't mean the other ones will and even if you have one kid without the factor doesn't mean the next ones won't if both parents or even just one parent already have a the factor then there's a higher chance but they never really State how much higher

I'll give my best guess but it not genetics the laplace is a part of his soul that can be born in random newborn carried maybe by the parents exposure to demons and it's maybe a one time thing. Cause the stillborn before rudeus 💀 from it. So there one chance was saved by his reincarnation and since he was first it wasn't passed on to his sister
