So many towns there are segregated and sundown towns unfortunately. It is also the boarder state of non free states and sadly many people of Illinois agrees with their neighboring states and the way they treated people.

my town (in the SUBURBS) is known for a large k*k initiation that retaliated against black churches and burned crosses. like 50,000 of them in 1922 burned a church to the ground. and yes you can absolutely tell that’s the towns history….
