@oniichanhq: James Bond, Dragonheart and Indiana Jones Icon, Sean Connery Passed Away Six Years Ago at 90 Years Old 🕊️ Remembering a True Legend. Before James Bond had a cinematic formula, Sean Connery gave him one. Beginning with Dr. No in 1962, Connery combined elegance, danger, humor, and effortless confidence into the screen version of 007 that every Bond actor afterward would inevitably be compared with. He ultimately played Bond in seven films, helping turn Ian Fleming’s secret agent into one of cinema’s most enduring characters. But Connery successfully escaped the shadow of 007. Some of his most memorable roles include: James Bond / Agent 007 (James Bond franchise) Professor Henry Jones Sr. (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) Draco (Dragonheart) — voice John Patrick Mason (The Rock) Allan Quatermain (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) King Arthur (First Knight) Juan Sánchez Villalobos Ramírez (Highlander) Jim Malone (The Untouchables) Captain Marko Ramius (The Hunt for Red October) King Richard the Lionheart (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) Robert “Mac” MacDougal (Entrapment) William Forrester (Finding Forrester) Sean Connery passed away peacefully in the Bahamas on October 31, 2020, at age 90. Six years later, Bond remains the role permanently attached to his name, but characters like Henry Jones Sr., Ramírez, Ramius, Mason, Malone, and Draco proved there was far more to Connery than the tuxedo and the Walther. For many movie fans, there have been several great Bonds. But when someone says “the original 007,” one face still comes immediately to mind. Remembering Sean Connery, 1930–2020. 🕊 #indiamajones #jamesbond #dragonheart #indianajones
