We had a 17 year old in the Air Force forget verify that the ground pins on the front landing gear of a kc-135 were installed. Dude started messing with the hydraulic systems and caused the landing gear to retract, sent the nose of the aircraft straight to the ground. That was one of the more memorable ass chewings I got
