@alexia3lodcl: every evening at six bernard would wait at the door with his leash in his mouth, and once the old man had his shoes on the two of them would do one slow loop around the neighborhood, twenty minutes. he'd look back every couple of steps to check the old man was keeping up, and the old man would stop every couple of steps to wait for him. by then the tartar was thick enough to have sealed the gaps in his teeth, eating was hard, his gums were always inflamed, and none of us thought about his kidneys. then they found the kidney failure and he went fast. now when those videos come up, one walking slow up front and one walking slow behind, i sit there for the whole afternoon. #dog #dogsoftiktok #heartwarming #fyp
