Ok but I was in fact friends with someone for 2 years and thought her name was Mia and called her that for TWO YEARS. Then one day someone recognized her in public and called her Maya and after he left I joked with her that he got her name wrong and she said that it’s actually Maya and when I asked her why she never corrected me she just said too much time had passed and she felt bad.
