@f1_playmaker: Kimi Antonelli’s first ever F1 session lasted 10 minutes. Monza, August 2024, 18 years old, George Russell’s car in the Parabolica wall at 52G. Two years later he leads the championship by 123 points. Ninth place in Mexico on 1 November and he’s world champion at 20 years and 68 days. Sebastian Vettel has held the youngest champion record since 2010, at 23 years and 134 days. Antonelli beats it by 3 years and 66 days. And that’s just the last record. Swipe for the rest: Youngest pole sitter ever, beating Vettel’s 17-year-old mark. Youngest driver to lead the championship, at 19. First five wins in five straight races. Nobody had ever done that. Youngest grand slam and youngest Monaco winner, a year after finishing last there. Youngest sprint winner, passing Hamilton at Silverstone. Won Monza from 19th on the grid, the first Italian to win at home since 1966. Nine wins in a season. No Italian has ever done that, not even Ascari. Italy’s first world champion since 1953, and the first in a car that isn’t Italian. Vettel’s reaction: “Records are there to be broken.” Which record is the biggest? Drop it in the comments. #KimiAntonelli #F1 #MexicoGP #Formula1 #MercedesAMGF1
