Heavenly Restriction Toji was born with a Heavenly Restriction that completely removed his cursed energy. Normally, having no cursed energy would make a person extremely weak in the jujutsu world. However, Toji’s restriction instead enhanced his physical capabilities to an extraordinary degree. His senses, strength, speed, reflexes, durability, and agility are all vastly beyond those of ordinary humans. He can perceive the presence of others through his heightened senses and possesses incredible spatial awareness. Because he has no cursed energy, sorcerers often struggle to detect him, allowing Toji to attack without warning. His lack of cursed energy also makes him an unusual opponent for techniques that rely on detecting cursed energy. Combined with his mastery of weapons and assassination tactics, this makes him exceptionally difficult to fight. Weapons and Toji is an expert in the use of cursed tools. Rather than relying on cursed techniques, he carries specialized weapons that allow him to fight jujutsu sorcerers on equal or superior terms. One of his most dangerous weapons is the Inverted Spear of Heaven, a special-grade cursed tool capable of nullifying cursed techniques upon contact. He also uses the Split Soul Katana, which can directly cut the soul and bypass conventional physical durability. Toji additionally possesses the Playful Cloud, a powerful three-section staff that relies primarily on the user’s physical strength.
