He’s correct - unless the title is in your name, he doesn’t have to tell you anything . Also, tow companies are required to file for the titles after so many days. It was there long enough for the tow company to obtain the title and auction it off. None of this is the tow companies fault.

You can’t it’s not your truck it’s not in your name and if a vehicle is sitting somewhere for multiple days without moving it’s considered abandoned if it is on public property
