As a First Nations person, I think that is a good topic. I don’t know if you are Indigenous, if not then hearing from someone who isn’t may hit differently. I sometimes think non-indigenous people don’t understand and think we are exaggerating or something. I don’t often hear people include “honour of the crown” and “fiduciary duty”. Those are very important to drive home. Once they get it, then they can see how ridiculous it is for everything to end up in the SCC. The SCC has said clearly they are not makers and for government to work with First Nations are figure out what is included in aboriginal rights and stop coming to them to decide.

Why don’t you speak about how the so-called survivor stories about bodies in the basement at Pine Creek school in Manitoba lead to GPR and a professional archaeological dig and nothing was found but stones. But you wouldn’t have the courage to call out the lack of credibility
