@tuxchuck: The Chuck E. Cheese location in La Mesa, California—located at 5500 Grossmont Center Drive—operated from August 2, 1993, until its permanent closure on December 29, 2024. Originally opened as Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza, this historic site was notable for retaining its classic 1-Stage animatronic show featuring Cyberamic Chuck E., Helen Henny, Mr. Munch, Jasper T. Jowls, and Pasqually, along with over 50 arcade and ride games. The venue officially shut down due to the ongoing redevelopment of the Grossmont Center mall into new apartments. #chuckecheese #lamesa #chuckecheesepizza #animatronics
