my mother is helping an autistic teenager in an ice facility in washington because his whole family was deported besides him. They were aggressive towards him, and he’s a U.S citizen as well. He doesn’t know english very well and is lacking comprehension due to his disability and language barrier

this is terrifying. my brother is nonverbal and autistic. injury’s for people with developmental disabilities are often even more traumatic and hard to recover from. if they had perceived that boy as a threat, they could have killed him.
