@thynktech: Defense technology company Anduril and semiconductor manufacturer Qualcomm are reportedly working together to establish Bluechip, a new laptop company focused on producing rugged, water resistant computers for military personnel, law enforcement and emergency responders. According to The Wall Street Journal, the laptops will be designed to operate in demanding environments where durability, reliability and secure computing are essential. The companies reportedly plan to manufacture the laptops at Anduril's Arsenal 1 facility in Ohio, while Qualcomm's processors would be produced at TSMC's semiconductor facility in Arizona. Anduril founder Palmer Luckey says approximately 90% of the components already come from the United States and allied countries, with a long term goal of building laptops entirely in America. #Anduril #Qualcomm #PalmerLuckey #Semiconductors #Technology
