@solcieloluna_: Upon having my mastectomy I immediately developed secondary lymphedema, which means that I was not born with the chronic condition it came about because of another disease, breast cancer. This chronic illness is also a for life thing since there is no cure for it. My lymphedema is extremely controlled however in the summer it’s very hard to keep it under control due to the heat. Like I mentioned I cannot do anything with my left arm and I have to be extra cautious of cuts or blisters. #mbc #lymphedema #metastaticbreastcancer #breastcancerawarenessmonth
