Have you ever seen the Apple peelers, I’ve had one for years, so much easier comes with a corer/slicer as well.

I have tried and TRIED to cut the center put of apples like you do and I can NOT get it without nearly slicing a finger off 🙃 You make it look so easy 😅

If your apples are soft enough, just use a potato masher and mash them. I make mine in the crockpot and mash them, and they are good to go.

I do mine the same except I don’t peel them. You can’t even tell since you blend it. The skin has so much nutrients.
