Not true. Been on a lot of cruises. The last one me and my friends & family were hammered on the island and heard the ship blowing its horn because it was about to leave😂

I am cruising for my first time on November 30. I refuse to be late. we will be on board an hour before sail away lol. well if we can we are doing excursions. book thru carnival so at least we wont be left lol

Second time cruiser and I’m afraid I may be late when we hit Nassua. Gf wants to swim with sea lions( I do too) but I also want to see the queens stairs. I looked it up and it’s about a 10 min walk to and from port. I have no idea what time the excursion leaves/gets back but it’s only 2/3 hours. We’re there for I think 8hrs, so hoping I can have time to tun to the queen stairs and then run back 😂😂😂

My bf and I would get up early to eat breakfast then be off the ship asap. Then by lunch we would come back, shower, have lunch, then take a nappy nap!

I've only been on 1 cruise and it was with my seasoned cruising parents and aunt and uncle. We were back on the ship at least 2 hours before.
