@t1d.aviya: This evening’s new Dexcom goosenecked immediately 😩 Thankfully, it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s such a pain!! It’s a freshly applied sensor that we know isn’t going to work, and there’s really no fixing it once that filament bends. So, off it comes, we’ll report it to Dexcom, and we start all over again with a new sensor. It’s one of those little frustrations of managing T1D that people don’t always see. These devices are such a helpful part of daily management, but they aren’t perfect. And when something goes wrong, you have to troubleshoot, make a new plan, and keep going. #t1d #type1diabetes #diabetes #medicalmom #dexcom
