I feel like the belt, socks and maybe the delicates are enabling. Why not teach him to check himself in the mirror, to understand how to wash his laundry?Enabling might not be the right word here it’s almost learned helplessness? Over prompting? If it’s enabling it’s enabling dependency on someone else to fix him up and do his laundry. But taking him shopping is a gift you’re able to give so I would see it more as something you’re able to do- as a parent but it’s not either. I’m sure there are people out there who would love to afford that but it doesn’t mean the aren’t “parenting”
