@marc_sallinger: Denver's license plate cameras are logging about 565,000 plate reads a day, but police searches of that data fell more than 90% after the city switched from Flock to Axon. Records I obtained show 165 searches in July 2026 under Axon, compared with 4,466 in July 2025 under Flock. Police say they're still piloting the new system and only about a dozen users can search it. The Axon cameras at 50 locations recorded nearly 12 million plate reads in 21 days.
