That happens to me too, I thought it was because I don’t get my nails done often.

they’re drilling them too much 😖i became a nail tech and do my own and they never hurt and i’ve had clients tell me they love how their nails don’t hurt after i do them & it’s not hard to not drill too much. find a new nail place or go to someone private

It’s from your nails having pressure on them, especially if u have done a while without acrylics

the filing and drilling really take a toll on ur nails and then there’s extra pressure . u should take a lil breaky break 🥹

I’ve done hard gel on myself for 2.5 years now and I have never had painful nail beds. Definitely look into a new nail tech! A lot of techs worry about time so they go quick and rough. Reason I taught myself because I couldn’t handle the anxiety of knowing I’d be sitting in pain!

Nail tech here! That's definitely not normal, babe. They're literally damaging your natural nails by over-filing them with the drill. 😩

I feel like it’s typically from over filing/heavy handed filing. Your nail plate could be on the thinner side from it as well. I hope it doesn’t keep happening to you queen. If you ever come to MI I’d love to do your nails!🫶
