@sjanimaladvocates: 🚨 POLLO NEEDS A FOSTER AND RESCUE BY 5PM ON 10/30 OR HE WILL BE EUTHANIZED 🚨 Pollo is a 2-year-old, 75-pound, energetic boy who loves getting out of his kennel to explore, sniff, and enjoy adventures. He’s enjoyed car rides, trail walks, park outings, and playing fetch. He knows “sit” and has shown a playful side with some dogs in controlled settings. Volunteers have observed Pollo politely running the fence with dogs without escalating and enjoying activities in quieter areas away from other dogs. Pollo was at risk of euthanasia back in June due to severe kennel stress. He was adopted but recently returned due to his unmanaged reactivity toward other dogs and small animals. However, his adopter said he did well with people coming to their home, and loves fruit. They also hope he finds the right home. Sadly, Pollo is at risk of euthanasia again. Pollo is strong, pulls hard on the leash, and needs experienced handlers, structured training, exercise, and a rescue prepared to manage potential behavioral needs.
