my nanny said cold cap or no treatment and once she couldn’t do cold cap anymore she refused chemo that could cause hair loss. some women need their hair to feel like themselves and would rather die than lose it. so it is that serious. you’re an angel🥰

What an angel. I had to lose every single hair on my body, down to every last eyelash and eyebrow hair. I had no insurance and couldn't afford the cold cap. My self esteem had never been lower and I'm traumatized. I hope that one day insurance covers cold capping.

start a 5013c!!!!!!! i’m in. a giving group called 100 women who care, there are chapters nationwide and we give $10,000 4 times a year to nonprofits and it’s an amazing way for small nonprofits to get awareness and funding

i feel like i had so many patients when i worked in chemo give up on it because it wasn’t even working and was so uncomfortable:( i wish there was a better option for them

i got radiation on my EAR for my skin condition and seeing my hair fall out and not being to do anything about it was one of the worst moments of my life. most of it grew back but some of the hairs are grey now. :( i can’t imagine how hard it is for chemo patients having to lose ALL of their hair.
