@melinanotmelissa: Ever wanted to visit medieval Spain without leaving South Florida? 😂🏰 The Ancient Spanish Monastery is one of those places that feels completely out of place in Miami, and after visiting three times, I still can’t get over the fact that it’s here. Originally built in Spain in the 12th century, the monastery was dismantled centuries later, shipped to the United States, and eventually reconstructed right here in North Miami Beach. Yes, an actual medieval monastery in Miami! Inside, you’ll find stone archways, peaceful gardens, historic courtyards, and architectural details that make it feel like you’ve stepped into another century. It’s such a fun spot to explore, take pictures, or simply enjoy a side of South Florida you wouldn’t expect to find. And that’s what I love about exploring Miami. Beyond the beaches, palm trees, and nightlife, there are places with incredible stories that make you see the city a little differently. Have you visited this hidden gem yet? Tag someone you’d bring here and follow me for episode 5 🏰🌿⬇️ Photo credits: Carolina Guzik 🫶🏼 • #miami #miamilife #thingstodoinmiami #Lifestyle #miamitravel • Things to do in Miami, Spanish Monastery, Ancient Spanish Monastery, Miami hidden gems, historic Miami, things to do in Florida, Miami adventures, Florida travel, Florida Life, Miami travel
