@annameissa: I’ve visited a handful of card shops around LA, but I know there are plenty I haven’t discovered yet. Any hidden gems I should check out? #magicthegathering #mtg #mtgcommunity #edh
If you want to go a bit far afield, geeky teas and Emerald knights in Burbank are my local card shops, geeky teas has tons on table space and a huge selection of board games as well, and house made loose leaf nerdy teas

If you are ever in the Valley, there's BGE Tabletop! It's a budding store that runs MTG D&D camps for kids, and integrates games with education. But also runs tons of events for everyone, has plenty of MTG, Warhammer, and board games galore. Been going there for the last 5 years!

You say LA but LA is huge. Towards the valley there’s Guildhall Burbank and Fire and Dice in northridge. In Chatsworth there’s a coffee shop/game store games n grounds!

Collector Legion down in Lawndale. Solid selection, a lil bit of everything for most TCGs. Games and Cards Collectibles in Glendale has insane selection. I'm still looking for another spot in LA proper myself.

Burbank has a great one called Geeky Teas that also has an area for kitties! They have reservable rooms, lots of open tables, board games, tcg, ttrpgs, awesome place.

Fire and Dice in Northridge is super cool. But my pod and I also like Odyssey (they are open until 11) and Crown City Games. Both in Pasadena.
