@jasperjewelry8: I wanted the heart shape to be part of the whole ring, so I set a heart-shaped natural diamond inside a matching diamond halo. For the 18K white gold band, I added a little open loop on each shoulder to give the design a softer, more flowing shape. I paid special attention to keeping the halo even around the heart’s curves and pointed tip.
