@jade.ramey74: Dollar General used its grazing rule to fire a diabetic who paid. The grazing rule at Dollar General says workers may not eat or drink store goods before paying. Cashier Linda Atkins, who needs insulin for her diabetes, drank orange juice twice when her blood sugar crashed. Each time she paid the $1.69 and told her manager. Atkins paid for both bottles of juice and Dollar General fired her anyway. A jury later made the company pay her $277,565. Should a store rule ever count more than a diabetic worker who paid for her juice? Sources: EEOC, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals
